Data Hosting Services ("we", "us") is a DataQI company providing website, hosting, security and consultancy services to medical professionals. This policy explains how we handle personal data on this website, in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect
- Enquiry details. If you use our contact form or email us, we receive the details you provide: your name, email address, practice type and message.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to serve the site securely. We do not use these to identify you.
What we do not collect
We do not set tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not sell or share your data for marketing. This site does not use third-party analytics that profile you.
How we use your data
We use enquiry details solely to respond to you and to discuss the work you have asked about. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you initiate.
Where it is stored and for how long
Enquiry submissions are stored securely on Cloudflare infrastructure and in our email system. We keep enquiries for up to 12 months from our last contact with you, then delete them, unless we enter into a contract with you.
Who we share it with
Cloudflare, Inc. acts as our hosting provider and data processor. We do not share your details with anyone else unless required by law.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict the personal data we hold about you, and you can object to our processing. Email hello@datahostingservices.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
